You’ve been notified that your gown has arrived. Now what?
Come in and try your gown on. If you’d like to have a fitting to begin any alterations, an appointment is required for a seamstress to be present. For a proper fitting you should be wearing the undergarments and shoes you will wear on your wedding day . Your petticoat and shoes affect the length of your gown and the bustier/ bra affects the fit of the bodice. These items are available for purchase at benita’s prior to your appointment. Upon completion of your alterations, your gown will be pressed free of charge.

Our custom fittings staff is made up of highly trained seamstresses with years of experience in gowns and specialty fabrics. Our seamstresses are reserved for Benita's customers only . The most common alterations required are hemming, bustling, and adjustments to the bodice. There is an additional charge for alterations. Please allow up to 6 weeks for alterations to be completed on your bridal gown; rush alterations are available if needed.

If you desire an additional gown pressing the week of your wedding, this service is available for an additional charge

Custom shoe dying is a beautiful and inexpensive way to complete your total bridal party look and add consistency to the wedding party. Dyable Shoes purchased at benita’s can be matched to any color.

Please Note:
It normally takes 7 days to have shoes dyed. Dyeable shoes are not waterproof and are not intended to be worn in the rain. Due to variations in fabric, colors may not be an exact match. Also, the difference between indoor and outdoor lighting may have a slight affect on color.
