We’ve been in business under the same family ownership since 1974. No other Washington bridal retailer can make such a claim. You may be surprised to know that half of our customers come from King, Snohomish, or Pierce counties. We have a brand new facility designed exclusively with you in mind. Typically, our current styles range in price from $400 to $1500. We do have clearance gowns priced as low as $199.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not required, but are highly recommended — especially for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You’re welcome to stop in and browse any day of the week. Please click request an appointment to schedule your appointment online or call us at 360.692.9600.
Appointment Tips:
- Although we generally limit appointments to one hour, exceptions can be made.
- It’s helpful to let us know what your budget is for your gown and accessories.
- Feel free to bring in pictures of styles that you’re interested in.
- If you’re thinking of wearing a particular hair style, shoe style, or strapless bra on your wedding day, consider bringing these for your appointment.
- Gowns are more fitted and run smaller than typical clothing. Don’t be surprised if your gown size is larger than what you normally wear; always remember, fit is more important than size.
- Choosing your gown is an important day for you. So if you plan to bring guests, please be selective.
If I special order my gown, how long does it take?
Typically, from the time you order your gown, it takes 3 to 4 months until it arrives at benita’s. However, adding custom features or if you’re planning a wedding date in the busy summer season, it may take additional time. This does not include time required for alterations . Gowns can be in high demand or discontinued, so when you have found the perfect dress do not hesitate to order. See choosing your gown for more information.
What if my wedding is in less than 3 months?
If we do not have your gown in stock, we will of course contact the designer for the earliest availability. Also, unlike many salons, our inventory is not limited to sample sizes. We carry gowns from sizes 2 through 24. We offer a beautiful collection of current styles that can be purchased on the day you visit.
My plan is to lose weight before my wedding, should I purchase a smaller sized gown than I presently wear?
You know your body best. However, experience has taught us that it is safer to order your present size and adjust as necessary. Please let us know about any special or unusual circumstances.
Do you provide alterations?
Yes, of course. Benita’s is a full-service bridal salon with in-store, experienced seamstresses that are reserved for benita’s customers.
How much time should I allow for ordering my bridesmaid dresses?
Give yourself plenty of time for delivery and alterations: at least 3 to 4 months, for delivery, and up to 4 weeks for fittings and alterations. Please see bridal party overview for more information.
How do I place orders for out of town bridesmaids?
Simply click on and complete the online out of town measurement form, or use the print & fax measurement form for faxing or mailing to benita’s.
Can my bridesmaids have color coordinated shoes?
Of course, we have a wonderful collection of shoes and handbags. Many of our shoes and handbags can be custom dyed to match your wedding.
