ordering
One of the most important considerations when ordering bridesmaid dresses is timing. In order to ensure that all dresses are made from the same dye lot, bridesmaids orders are placed once all sizes have been chosen and a 60% deposit has been paid for each dress. Bridesmaid dresses take about 12-14 weeks to arrive once the order has been placed. If you feel that you do not have enough time for your order, please contact benita’s for rush order information. Appointments are not necessary for the bridesmaids department.

measurements
Bridesmaids dresses are more fitted and run smaller than typical clothing. Don’t be surprised if your dress size is larger than what you normally wear. Always remember, fit is more important than size. When a dress is being ordered, benita’s prefers to take measurements and compare them with the manufacturer’s size chart. For out of town bridesmaids, we suggest that measurements be taken professionally and submitted using our online measurement form or our print and fax form.

arrival and fittings
The bride will be notified when the dresses arrive at benita’s. At that time, we will confirm balance due and any shipping information required. Bridesmaids are welcome to make an appointment with our custom fittings department for any alterations. Benita’s suggests that you allow 3-4 weeks for alterations.
